Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said the Iowa congressman should "find another line of work" after making racist comments to The New York Times.

The nine-term Republican congressman from Iowa has been spouting racist views and canoodling with white supremacists for years.
The controversy was reignited last week after King asked: “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?”
Reps. Bobby Rush of Illinois and Tim Ryan of Ohio each are submitting censure resolutions.
"If he doesn’t understand why ‘white supremacy’ is offensive, he should find another line of work,” McConnell said in a statement.
“What I’m going to do is urge everyone to stand for principles that matter,” Cruz said about backing the racist Iowa lawmaker down the road.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) may strip the Iowa congressman's committee assignments.
CBC Chair Karen Bass called on Republicans to make clear the Iowa congressman is "no longer welcomed in their party" after his repeated racism.
